S. Hansen Long

Hansen Long joined TSA in October 1999 as Senior Consultant, following a lengthy career in the submarine cable industry relating to the financial and strategic aspects of the industry at AT&T Capital Corporation, AT&T Submarine Systems, Inc. (SSI), and most recently, Tyco Submarine Systems, Ltd. (TSSL.)

At TSA, Mr. Long directs and executes strategic studies involving all aspects of the submarine and international communications industry on behalf of all client groups-systems developers, suppliers, financiers, and carriers. At TSSL and SSI, Mr. Long was responsible for forecasting worldwide telecom traffic demand and for calculating regional and global traffic capacity requirements. He also developed several market-based presentations, papers, and talks at telecom industry conferences. Mr. Long also provided strategic market information and competitive assessments in quarterly reports to senior management and gathered, analyzed, and disseminated information on current industry developments through a quarterly company newsletter and daily email to functional managers within the organization.

Mr. Long has extensive experience in market and manufacturing management, planning and analysis. He has developed strategic market plans and forecasts, developed product/market promotional programs and managed direct mail response.

In addition, Mr. Long has account executive experience in the financial services industry and is an experienced writer and speaker. Mr. Long's experience includes executive and strategic planning positions at Prime Financial Group, Inc., and Leeds & Northrup Co.
